Foodways
The four focus areas of Liberation Ecosystem are Land, Environment, Agriculture, and Foodways. We emphasize the importance of racial equity and justice across these four areas in all Vermont communities.
Our Initiatives
Building Community
Liberation Ecosystem is a growing network of BIPOC and BIPOC-led organizations. We facilitate a collaborative platform that supports networking, community building, idea sharing and collaboration, and the cultivation of joy and healing.
We host free events for members around the state (both in-person and virtually) including community dinners, workshops, skill shares, outdoor adventures, and more.
Sharing Opportunities
The Collective serves as a platform to develop and share opportunities for our Collective community through our community email list including: jobs*, internships*, grants, land access opportunities, professional development opportunities, trainings, workshops*, events, educational resources, and networking opportunities.
*If you would like to request that a job posting is shared with our community, please include responses to our prerequisite questions with your request.
Amplifying Voices
As a network, we aim to use our platform to share member news throughout the Collective. New and existing businesses, member triumphs, opportunities, requests for support, and more - our Collective is here to circulate and amplify our BIPOC community’s news. Our platform also elevates the voices and experiences of our community, and supports advocacy of BIPOC involved in the four focus areas to community and statewide entities.
